Rómulo Galarza, owner of the Complex “Laberintos del Chiguaza”, was born on August 7, 1962 in the Limón Indanza Canton, Province of Morona Santiago, Study at the University of Cuenca, Civil Engineer by profession, about 25 years ago together with his Father Carlos Galarza Samaniego, discover about 4 hectares of labyrinths, which are nothing more than roads of different directions, widths, heights, textures, and; a wide variety of forms, with rock walls ranging from one meter to five meters, all rocks full of petrified marine fossils, from that moment a process of research and visits by speleologists and people with high knowledge begins on these issues, and then become a tourist area at the service of the community.
Max Andrés, born on January 16, 1997, in Bayshore, Long Island, New York, at age 7 returns to Ecuador with a greed to enjoy nature and with extensive knowledge of flora and fauna, becomes the first guide, the youngest, who since the age of 7 begins to perform the functions of GUIA on the routes of the Labyrinths of Chiguaza. Gradually it feeds on knowledge, and a child still acquires skills to guide the other routes. With the support of his parents and his aunts Elsa and Mery, he is currently studying at the University of Cuenca, the career of Biochemistry and Pharmacy. Its special function is guidance, and support in the administrative area, customer service and participates in the construction and maintenance of the complex.
Jessica, Born on March 16, 1979, in the City of Macas, Province of Morona Santiago, currently serves as a public servant, her fondness for culinary art, puts the magic touch in the preparation of food for tourists Taste something different on holidays and weekends. Your support in the administrative area, customer service is of great importance in the complex.
Eduardo Andrés was born on March 25, 2001, in the City of Macas, Province of Morona Santiago. He is currently studying at the Amazon State University, the Agribusiness Engineering degree, Andrés, since the age of 9, with the example of Max, also becomes a tourist guide of the 4 routes that the Labyrinths of Chiguaza, provides service, has a great affinity for flora and fauna and special management and care with tourists. Its special function is guidance, and support in the administrative area, customer service and participates in the construction and maintenance of the complex.
Gabriela Abigail was born on November 30, 2016, although she is not part of the work team in the Labyrinths of Chiguaza, but plays a very important role that is our inspiration, our strength, the smallest of the family and has a special inclination for insects, flora and wildlife. We hope that in a short time it will become the smallest guide in the Labyrinths of Chiguaza.
